Orange Maple Roasted Brussels Sprouts-Vegan

Combining two flavorful ingredients to glaze roasted Brussels sprouts, perfect for fall Vegan meals
Prep Time:5 minutes
Cook time: 30 minutes
Yield: 4 servings

Equipment needed: heavy bottomed frying pan
Ingredients:
2 cups of Brussels Sprouts-washed and cut in half
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon maple syrup
Grated orange peel from one small orange
Juice of one small orange
Instructions:
1. Preheat the frying pan over medium heat
2. Toss the Brussels sprouts in olive oil, lay the Brussels Sprouts cut side down in the pan
2. Cook for 15 minutes checking that they are well browned before flipping over. Cook another 5 minutes.
6. Toss the Brussels Sprouts with the maple syrup, orange peel and juice from orange, pepper, salt.
7. Cook for another minute or two to create a lovely glaze.
